Our knitted toys are made in Bangladesh on a Fairtrade project. These toys are knitted by disadvantaged women in rural areas who would otherwise have to leave their families and work in the city. This benefits women, the children and their communities.

Pebble fair trade knitted gifts and toys at Babi Pur. We are extremely proud to work with Pebble who have been making fair trade knitted goods since 2004. This fantastic scheme in India employs disadvantaged women in rural areas of Bangladesh giving them a real opportunity to learn skills and work their way out of poverty. Pebble’s founder, Samantha Morshead, was awarded an MBE for her work. The quirky animals and fun toys are always a hit with children.
