We can't help get excited about this wooden dolls house, it's truly magnificent! Standing a massive 73cm tall this really is a toy to treasure forever. There are some lovely details like the working sash windows and the colums either side of the front door. A staircase inside takes you up to each floor and the front opens up so your child can play with their little dolls inside easily. No mdf or chipboard this dolls house is built from sturdy solid rubberwood and ply and of heirloom quality.

Super house, solidly built, very pleased indeed. The house is appealing to look at with windows that open and that there is a basement you can add to extend the "living space". The house, being in natural wood looks great as it is, be we think it is a great blank canvas for customising (we plan to paint he roof and doors). There is a great range of furniture by plan to copliment the house - the bits we have are of great quality with good detail. 1/12th scale is a nice size of furntiure and not too fiddly for children to play with. Couple of practical observations.: We found that the stairs, which are removable, were best secured with a spot of wood glue, as they tend to detatch themselves too easily during play. With the basement (bought separately) the house is quite tall (and heavy), and as with any doll house of that size it would be quite easy to pull down so we've decided to secure to the wall. A super buy, which we hope our daughter will love for years, and may pass down to another generation even!..
