I am very disapointed with the flip wraps. I think the inserts are good, especially the cotton ones are very efficient -I was not convinced by the disposable ones, and ended up using them as boosters- . The wraps are really easy to adjust for a good fit, dry very quickly, and now the range of colors is lovely. This said I bought some in 2010, hoping this would be a good investment, but the wraps have became useless (I think it was not as bad at the beginning), and I have to get a new pair of trousers at each nappy change, so I could actually do without the nappies and save some washing :-) I think the leaks come from the waterproofing that was short lived, the wee seems to diffuse straight away from the seam around the legs. The only way to get around this is to add some booster so the nappy lasts 2 to 3 hours. I have to add I have always washed the covers along with the inserts at 60°C. I will have to buy wraps from a different brand for my second baby...

I love the flip covers. Despite being a single gusset, they're very reliable and fit well around the legs. The double row of snaps means that you can adjust the legs tighter/looser in comparison with the waist, depending on the shape of your baby, which means they fit better than some with a single row of snaps. Also, no danger of velcro snagging in the wash. The snaps can be a little fiddly to find the best fit with, but once found, you just have to remember where to snap them again for the next time...

We love the Flip Nappy system. They were the only one size reusable Nappies to fit our daughter at a 4 weeks old. Flip Nappies: are really easy to use! are fast to dry & don't take up to much space on the washing line look very cute & come in a great range of colours hardly every leek even with poo explosions (way better than disposables) can be washed at a higher temperatures than other nappies really flexible as you can double them up or use the organic cotton inserts for overnight If you are buying them for a newborn and are breastfeeding you might want an extra cover or two as we have found that runny poo can end up on the covers. We tested 7 different types of nappies and these won hands down in our opinion...

I love Flips! In my opinion, the best thing about this wrap is how well it prevents dirty leaks - even when things get explosive! The material is really waterproof, and the elastic round the legs gives them a great fit. Other benefits are that you can reuse the wrap with a new insert if it's not soiled (or even if the soiling hasn't reached the wrap), they dry very quickly and they're quite slim-fitting for cloth nappies. The colours look great too (my personal favourites are orange and yellow). I have these in both poppers and velcro. Both are good - poppers seem like they'll last longer, dry slightly quicker and don't fold in on the dirty contents when the nappy is open (the velcro ones have a habit of doing this I find); velcro gives you slightly more flexibility for closing (e.g. you can angle them up for a snugger fit on the leg). On the whole I prefer poppers, I think...

For me the flip is the most dependable wrap on the market. I liked it with the flip insert but as my son is such a wriggler they were too hard to use during nappy changes as he got older. However, I still use them over fitteds and even eco disposables when he has 'ahem' tummy ache and they are completely leak proof. I always get a lovely fit and the colours are so lovely and bright that it seems a shame to put trousers on over it. We even used a few of these with disposable inserts on a holiday around Finland when he was 4 months old and we never regretted it...

We really wanted to love the flip but we havent managed to :( We purchased with the stay dry insert and it just isnt a great fit on my 4 month old. We had a feww poosplosions and leaky wee every time. I have kept however as we use the shell over fitted nappies instead :) appearance - 9/10 (we have ribbit, its a gorgeous dark green) ease of use - 9/10 drying time - 10/10 (the shell!) price - 6/10 (expensive for what im using it for - a wrap)..

I only bought this as the BOGOF launch deal was too much to resist but i am so glad i did, most of my nappy collection is a lot fluffier and i have mainly prints but i have to say this is probably the best wrap we have. I have a newborn and it's fitted over her sized nappies since she was home, they really do work from birth. The popper settings are easy to work out, even for a total novice like me. I just wish they did funky prints as i can't help but pick up a more glamourous wrap over this one - it's first for functionality, fit and performance...

I was recommended the Bumgenius Flip by a friend after I mentioned how disappointed I was in the shaped nappies I had been trying to use. I have never been so grateful. Compared to other 'real' nappies these are very economical, easy to use, fit really well and come in some great colours. The fabric is soft around the waist and legs and they're pretty slimline: unlike the other real nappies I've used I haven't even had to put my baby in the next size up clothes. I've already spread the word and recommended them to another mum-to-be!..

I bought some Flips to use this summer while camping with my little one and I'm so glad I did! Not only were they perfect for our camping holidays, but these remain one of my favourite nappies at home now too. They are simple, yet effective and very reliable, my little one has never had a leak in one. I love the slim-fitting design, in fact it is the slimmist fitting nappy system that we have at home, and the Flips fit well under 'normal' trousers. We used the Flip disposables while camping, and I would highly recommend them for ease of use. Day to day I find that prefolds work really well in the Flip wraps. I'm hoping that BG will bring out some pattern design Flips at some point - that would be perfect!..
