Mfg Info

Close Parent Nappies at Babi Pur. Close Parent make the Pop-in nappy and a range of other practical baby products including change mats, towels and the Close baby carrier. The Pop-in Bamboo launched in 2008 was a massive success and a year later followed the Pop-In dream dri microfiber nappy which offered a faster drying alternative. Strong ethics and a desire to enable parents to raise their children in a more green and natural way have lead to some fantastic and innovative baby products stocked by some big name stores and of course Babi Pur. So what do we think of Close Parent? Well our own child was cloth bottomed in the Pop-In bamboo nappy and we think it’s brilliant. Combined with the nite booster although a little bulky it was the only nappy to keep her dry right through the night. There are lots of new nappies around now that can achieve good results at night time but the Pop-in is a definite favourite of ours.

The Pop in Dreami Dri is just that, a dream to dry. It really does dry in a matter of an hour or two. I dont tumble dry any of my nappies so drying time is a big thing for me, and the Pop in Dreami dri does not fail to impress. Its containment of the worst nappies is fabulous, not once have i had any leakage and my LO is a messy nappy wearer.
I only once had wicking at the legs, this was when i first got it and impatiently only gave it one prewash, since then i haven't had any wicking, leaking at all.
All in all i would give this nappy 9/10, and the only reason it doesnt get a full 10 is because i prefer poppers and would love to see a popper version now my LO is bigger and can undo the velcro tabs, that said the velcro is alot stronger than other nappies in my stash, and would beat bumgenius on that front hands down!..

The perfect nappy for someone without a tumble drier! Although slightly bulkier than the bamboo version the dream dri is the absolutely perfect alternative for those who need a quick drying nappy. The inserts come out of the washing machine practically dry already and they take only an hour or so to dry on a rack in a warm room. The stay dry top keeps babys bum completely dry and the inserts stay very soft. Its ONLY downside is that it needs changing slightly more often than the bamboo version, but its plus sides more than make up for it...

Quick drying time is essential for us in our tiny flat, so I was so excited to try the new dream dri nappy. True to its name - it was so quick drying... Even a late night wash was ready to be folded and put away very early the next morning. The fabric is super soft and feels very luxurious. After one pre wash it managed to hold out for 3 hours and a poo-spolsion (a running teething poo at that!). I love the leg gussets and the fit around the waist is excellent on my slim baby. It's much trimmer then some of my other BTP nappies too, and so looks great under his clothes. I'll definately be buying some extra inserts so I can reuse the cover before washing. The only downside is that they are still only available in pastel colors - we would love some brights please Close Parent!!..

Really easy to use and reliable nappy. Dries really quickly too. Ideal if you have no tumble drier.

The Dream Dri nappy really does dry like a dream. I've been using one alongside a set of bamboo pop-ins so it has been subjected to the same conditions and treatment as any other nappy - same child (3-4 months old) and same washing regime/drying conditions. It comes out of the washing machine practically dry already, and if anything the wrap feels a wee bit damper than the inner! It performs well in general use and is lightweight and very soft (and this is after repeated washings in a hard water area - the bamboo ones are still doing well but pure cotton nappies seem to harden up a little and need a bit of a tumble dry now and again to keep their softness...). The only problem that I have found with it is that it doesn't have the immediate absorbent grab of the natural fibres, which is only a problem when there is a major and startling 'event' in the nappy. However, this could also be down to the limited nature of my trial and the Dream Dri's bad luck to be the nappy in use on the odd occasion when the world falls out of the baby's bottom... I really would recommend this nappy as being very easy to use and maintain, ridiculously easy to wash and dry. It does what is says on the tin, and is a dream to dry. I have been so impressed that I plan to get a few more to add to the collection, both for their general usefulness and for their quick wash and dry qualities for emergencies (when the washing gets on top of me) and holidays.

The pop in nappy is a great birth to potty (BTP) nappy. The inserts in this nappy are microfibre they fasten in in seconds with the poppers and the front rise poppers allow for a very versatile fit to the nappy. The legs are excellent at containing new baby poo and the absorbency is excellent.
The inserts dry much faster than those in the original pop in. Although I do like to use a fleece liner to keep his bum dry.
The colours are pastel and all would suit girl or boy.
The only things I would change about these nappies are the laundry tabs loose their effectiveness after a while so the velcro can attach to other nappies but I get around this by using a mesh bag or fastening the nappies inside out to wash.
Also would love to see them in some funky colours and patterns..

I like this nappy! I just purchased them 2 weeks ago and find them to be very good. Nice fit,not bulky ,very soft (specially around the waist). I also have bumgenius 3.0 thats why I decided to try the pop-in and so far they working well on my little son. One very good thing about them that the outer shell can work as a wrap ,because if it dosen't get wet I can just pop-in another soaker without changing a whole nappy, I can even use the nappy with other boosters and sookers as well! Easy to wash, but the soaker takes a bit of time to dry because its bamboo.
I recommend them even for longer trips...

I had a number of the old V2 version of these, and now have tried out the new V3. The new minkee inner is beautifully soft to touch, and makes for a very slim fitting nappy. The new material of the outer part is also soft and silky, and I prefer it to the old one which bobbled after just a few washes. This nappy really does dry amazingly quickly, especially if the parts are separated, and will dry out on the line in a few hours, or overnight on an airer. It fits well at various sizes, and I like the gusseted leg for good containment, but messy poos certainly do make a mess on the different parts of the inner compared to a pocket style of nappy. The addition of the dry night booster makes for a great night nappy which easily lasts all night on my 7 month old and 26 month old. During the day I do prefer to reach for a BG over a Pop In, but they definitely have a place in my stash...

These are lovely and soft on my babies legs, where other nappies make him sore. Really absorbent and fit my both 2 month old and 30 month old nicely. Dries overnight...
