Fair Trade Crochet Giraffe with Satchel by Imago

This funky crochet toy giraffe is carrying a little satchel to put all those giraffe essentials in (what would a giraffe carry in a bag we wonder).  Giraffes are fascinating creatures, they are the tallest animals which live on dry land.

This cute little toy is made entirely by hand in Tambon, Thailand.  The factory is part of a government project OTOB (One Tambon One Product) which excists to support the rural community and help small villages by promoting their traditional handicraft and help teach new skills.
