A simple nappy cover with true leg gusset and adjustable sizing snaps on the front so they grow with your baby. These hook and loop weehuggers have mitten shaped closures that look adorable and offer an adjustable secure fit. "Stay put" flaps keep inserts in place and are made from laminated bamboo/organic cotton. The plain colours have a durable polyester outer and the designer prints have a soft cotton outer. Weehugger bamboo/organic cotton inserts are available separately but you can use any prefold or other suitable insert. Have a look at the extra images for a detailed look at this fab eco nappy.

These wraps are very pretty and because the velcro is mitten shaped and strong they are hard for a little one to take off on their own. I have found them to be a little unreliable. They contain poo well but neither of my babies have particularly soft poos anymore. The main gripe is that because of the fabric they are made from, once they get wet around the leg gusset they can sometimes wick liquid onto the outer fabric. For this reason you have to be careful how and where you stuff them and unlike the tots wraps once the outer fabric is a little wet around the legs you have to change the wrap. They also take an absolute age to dry in comparison to my tots bots wraps - which are more practical but not as pretty. They are lovely though and the soaker hugger makes them very versatile - I have had prefolds, folded terries and shaped nappies in them. They work best with a folded terry or prefold for me. If you are planning to use them with shaped nappies make sure you don't stuff the tabs right down to the ends as this made mine leak - be careful not to overstuff. Because of the drying time I would not want these wraps as a main wrap because you would need so many! They are really beautiful and functional as a pretty wrap for showing off though...

I ordered the aplix size 2 weehugger for my 6 month old who is roughly 14lb. I decided to get the size 2 as I thought I'd get more use out of it than the size 1. I put it straight on her when it arrived, with a flip stay dry insert - it fits beautifully on the smallest setting (the tabs are crossed over but this is to be expected as she's just under the weight limit). Within the hour we'd had her regular 'pooplosion' and to my delight it was all contained, and more importantly, not on the weehugger cover ! So a quick wipe out and a new insert and away we went again. Obviously as you can use any insert, it's absorbant as you make it, but the design is well thought out - it looks good, the double leg gussets work brilliantly and the fabric that touches baby's skin is nice and soft. A big thumbs up from me !..

I bought a weehugger because I couldn't resist the lovely prints. I got a baby blooms for my little girl and it really is gorgeous. The outer cover is soft cotton which I haven't seen before on a printed nappy, it feels very luxurious. We've used the covers with flip inserts and the weehuggers bamboo inserts, both work well but the weehuggers inserts are a little thin and need something extra for my 2 yr old, flip nappy inserts fit fine inside and I'd probably say these are better. The weehugger covers can be used for more than one nappy change as long as the stay put flaps don't get wet, they're laminated on the underneath so usually they stay dry. On average you can do 3 nappy changes before you need to change the cover. A really good looking nappy and it works really well. Would definitely recommend but with flip inserts...
