Flip One Size Nappy Cover with Stay Dry Insert

This pack contains 1 flip one-size nappy cover available in snaps/poppers or Velcro/Hook & Loop fastening and 1 stay dry microfibre insert. The flip stay dry insert is made of 3 absorbent layers of microfibre and a soft fleece top layer that keeps moisture away from your baby's bum, it has a simple fold at the end for different size baby's. The flip one-size cover is a waterproof shell with adjustable sizing poppers on the front, with a quick wipe the cover can be used over and over again. Choose Flip snaps for a firm fastening that your baby can't undo, choose Flip Velcro for an simple to use and perfect fit. Extra inserts are available separately and the flip cover is compatible with the disposable insert, the organic insert and even bumGenius 4.0 inserts.

I didnt see the point of flips when they were released but when you compare the cost to say the BGV4 it works out a lot cheaper, you need less outers for the amount of inserts reducing costs dramatically. They are also great for holidays/being away from home as there is less bulk, outers are quick drying and if they arnt messy you can re use them and the option of disposable inserts when you dont have a washing machine to hand is a great idea. Over all I prefer the BG4 as to me its a propper nappy but I do love flips too..

I love flips! It's much easier to fold the insert under the flaps at the front and back of the wrap than it is to stuff a fiddly pocket, but the stay-dry inserts mean that you're just putting one insert in the wrap and then the whole thing on your baby. The stay-dry layer does just what it says it does. The microfibre is fine for the day, but needs boosting with natural fibres overnight. It's a slim-fitting nappy, that is fine even on very little babies (we started using them at 8lbs and they were fine). Flips are also great for out and about and take up very little space in your nappy bag or indeed in your suitcase for a holiday. Because you don't need to change the wrap unless it's soiled, this is also a much cheaper option than pockets/AIOs. If I could only have one type of nappy, this would be it...

The flaip with stay dry is a great intro to hybrid nappies. pretty simple for a two part system, and a handy flap to hold the insert in place. the inserts are lovely and slim with a smooth stay dry top layer, relaible and very fast drying. Using inserts with covers is fairly economical for cloth nappying. I have only tried the snaps version, which is good for preventing wing droop but I found the snaps a bit difficult to do up with a wriggly toddler. If I was getting new ones I would be tempted to try aplix, just a personal preference though as I know most people prefer snaps. All in all I think they are great, though I personally am a huge fan of AIOs and pockets...

The first reuseable nappy I've tried and very happy. Comfortable fit and has grown with bubba since birth. Washes really well and very economical. The stay dry liners do just that, although they need to be worn with a liner (tots bots liner fits perfectly and silky smooth.) I have twice as many inserts to covers as I like to change often. I love the fact I can slip in a prefold or bamboo towel to freshen bubba for a feed. I'm not on the hunt to try out new products it works brilliantly. Haven't had a single poosplosion!..

I use my Flip, boosted with 2 bamboo boosters, as a night nappy, and it lasts for 12 hours or so. The stay dry cover on the inserts is great, and my daughter feels dry even in the morning. The wrap and the inserts dry quickly even on an airer inside. I also used my flip wrap as a cover over fitted nappies when my daughter was small. The only downside is that the aplix is starting to look a little tatty, but still works well after nearly a year. Repair kits are available, although I've not used one yet...

We love the Flip Nappy system. They were the only one size reusable Nappies to fit our daughter at a 4 weeks old. Flip Nappies: are really easy to use ! are fast to dry & don't take up to much space on the washing line look very cute & come in a great range of colours hardly every leek even with poo explosions (way better than disposables) can be washed at a higher temperatures than other nappies really flexible as you can double them up or use the organic cotton inserts for overnight If you are buying them for a newborn and are breastfeeding you might want an extra cover or two as we have found that runny poo can end up on the covers. We tested 7 different types of nappies and these won hands down in our opinion...

I first purchased Flip covers and Stay Dry inserts when I began using cloth nappies after a recommendation from a friend. I absolutely adore these covers as they can be used as a waterproof wrap over a fitted nappy or you can pop a Stay Dry insert inside them and use them as an AI2 system! These dry extremely quickly and are very good at containing urine and poo. I would definitely recommend these to any cloth beginner or any parent that is intending on going on holidays and doesn't have access to a washing machine!..

The BumGenius Flips are an excellent starter nappy for anyone dipping their toes into the cloth world. They're versatile, durable, easy to care for and come in a huge range of lovely 'fresh baby' colours. The fact that it comes in two parts - a wrap and an insert - means you can play with colours, if that's your bag, and try out staydry, organic or disposable inserts before you work out your favourite. They also take up much less space in a wetbag that other brands, so they make a great 'travel nappy' too! The only downside is that while the colours so far are all mid to pastel shades, BumGenius have not quite branched out into widely-available or mass-appealing patterns or deep/rich colours...
