Flip Stay Dry Inserts - Newborn Pack of 6

Newborn size reusable inserts for your flip nappy outer covers. Each insert has a stay dry top sheet to keep your baby's bottom dry and has absorbent microfibre layers that dry super quickly. Great for smaller babies to slim down the flip nappy system and can also be used as a handy booster pad later on.

These are the "Stay Dry" or microfibre version of the flip inserts. 100% polyester, 80% polyamide. Hot wash, tumble or line dry.

We love the Flip Nappy system. They were the only one size reusable Nappies to fit our daughter at a 4 weeks old. We only discovered the newborn inserts last week when we were looking for boosters for the flip as an over night nappy. They seem to be good. They are thinner than the normal stay dry inserts but then again they are less bulky. The cotton interts work well for overnight but are slower to dry so we bought these instead. See below for what we think of the overall flip system. Flip Nappies: are really easy to use ! are fast to dry & don't take up to much space on the washing line look very cute & come in a great range of colours hardly every leek even with poo explosions (way better than disposables) can be washed at a higher temperatures than other nappies really flexible as you can double them up or use the organic cotton inserts for overnight If you are buying them for a newborn and are breastfeeding you might want an extra cover or two as we have found that runny poo can end up on the covers. We tested 7 different types of nappies and these won hands down in our opinion...

Slightly tricky to write about these as Flip inserts, as we found the Flip nappies too big to use until our baby was at least 4 weeks, and by that stage we needed to have bigger inserts. What these have been fantastic for, however, is catching any sudden surprises while we are changing her. We've been using these inserts under her bum as the nappy comes off so that she can have a little bit of nappy-off time without wee running down her back, and also as mini towels to dry her off at each nappy change (if they haven't already been soiled) I also intend to use the newborn inserts as extra padding either in my BG Freetime, or inside the Flips, and definitely don't feel that these were a wasted purchase. If anything, I'm really pleased I bought them - even if we haven't been using them in the 'correct' manner!..
