bumGenius Flip Re-usable Potty Training Pants

Flip training pants, fit 18 months to 4 years. Each pack contains 1 training pant and 3 organic cotton pads.

One size, pull up pull down pants which also snap off for convenience. The organic cotton pads are absorbent but also allow your child to feel the wetness which helps when potty training. The size of the pads can be adjusted and they are secured to the cover with soft hook and loop (velcro) tabs so everything stays together allowing your child to use them like normal pants. Please note that these have contrasting colour side panels.

I bought the flip training pants to use at night time as my daughter is potty trained during the day but most nights still wets at least once or twice and the reusable option, other than a nappy, is limited. The fit of these is slim and more pant like but not very adjustable around the waist, a few more poppers would probably help, however we get a good fit. the rise adjusts with poppers which when you are pulling them up can come undone, we pull from the back to minimise this! I use 2 of the cotton inserts together overnight which provide lots of absorbancy or when we are on holiday the flip disposable inserts making them really versatile. size seems quite generous my daughter is 3.5 and only on the middle setting, the largest setting is way too big at present. overall i am finding they work really well as an overnight option and i prefer buying the flip disposable inserts to pull up pants. for us an excellent buy that will hopefully last us through this stage. the only thing that annoyed me is that the cotton inserts are much narrower than normal flip/bumgenius inserts and the trainers cut so much slimmer, so they are not really compatable with each other and it would be nice to buy the covers and inserts seperately...

I bought these as a night time option for my 3yr old. she is potty trained during the day but without fail always wets at night. I think the fit of these pants is superb. there is plenty of room to grow and i think they would even fit my slim girl til well past 4 should she still need them. What i will say though is that the inserts have very much been designed for an accidental wee during the day and that they are no way near absorbent enough to contain a full nights wee. They will definitely need to be experimented with and boosted properly. maybe stuffed with a prefold or the like. I have given up on them for now and shall be attempting a bamboozle for my daughter at night. Though i shall definitely be keeping them for use with my son when he starts potty training...
