Ordered this before the birth of our baby, baby is now nearly 4 weeks old and we have used this loads. We love it: 1) Stylish design 2) Very comfortable 3) Easy to use- I am able to pop the baby in on my own- I have another sling which is not as easy as you have to fold and wrap it around yourself. This sling you simply tie. Brilliant! Babi Pur has excellent customer service too...

I was first introduced to mei tais by a friend who had used the same one to carry both her children until well into toddlerhood - a far cry from the Baby Bjorn I had with my daughter which broke my back after and couple of months and which I bought before I was educated in the finer points of hip development (my daughter had DDH, as did I as a baby). With my little boy I was armed with more information on babywearing and the knowledge that we have a family history of hip problem. Even if his hips were fine (and thankfully they were), I wanted a carrier that would keep them that way! I loved the look of my friend's mei tai so even before my little boy was born I had ordered a Babyhawk. They are a little more expensive than some carriers on the market but I was attracted by the gorgeous designs and padded straps. I bought a single sided Babyhawk in case there was the remotest chance that my husband would ever use it, as the carrier is reversible, so I have my funky skulls on one side and the other is completely blank. I haven't been disappointed. I LOVE my Babyhawk. It is so easy to put on and isn't nearly as difficult as it looks at first glance. In fact I can get the Babyhawk on more quickly than my soft structured carriers and I also find it easier to adjust once my baby boy is in it. With my SSCs I need to be a contortionist to reach and pull on some of the buckles and straps once it's on, but with the Babyhawk it's a simple case of undoing the knot and pulling on the straps whilst bouncing my little man up with a little hop, then retying. The only negative point about it (and mei tais in general) is that the straps do tend to end up on the ground at some point whilst putting the baby in and taking them out, so not ideal with you're in a car park in the pouring rain - but hey, that's what my other carriers are for, and I have a few ;)..
