I have no idea what it is about Sophie, but she really soothed my daughter and she absolutely loved her. An excellent distraction tool when at supermakret checkouts, on buses etc! I would recommend popping a dummy clip around Sophie's neck so you can attach her to a sling or your pram, as we did lose our first one when out shopping one day. Expensive, but in my opinion, worth the money for the calming effect...

My boy loves his giraffe so much, so different to all his other teething toys. He can easily hold it by the legs and chew away without the constant need for me to keep handing it back to him. Well worth the money. His teething seems to have died off at the moment and he doesn't have teeth yet so the true test will be whenhe is properly teething, but for now a great toy...

Everyone loves Sophie, she's extremely popular these days and its not hard to see why, fabulous looking and is an great comfort to a teething baby without resorting to any un-natural products. Im a bit lothed to try teething necklaces as I am admittedly scared of choaking/strangulation risks, maybe thats just me being paranoid. Sophie provides the same relief with no risk at all. Our last Sophie got lost on holiday so will need another for the baby..

Sophie is a big hit in our house, she was a gift from a lovely friend who really recommended them. I was a little curious at first as she does have a squeak and reminded me a little of a dog toy. But Sophie is a stable teething toy and has relieved hours of chewing for my little boy as his teeth have emerged. He's 10 months now and 7 teeth later; Sophie is still very much loved and still going strong...

We have 2 Sophie's in our house. One goes to nursery and one stays here just so we don't lose one. It's been a lifesafer for my son since he was 8 months old and teething hit big time. Other teething toys just don't compare. There is something special about this giraffe that makes it so popular. The neck makes a great handle, and there's plenty of chewing options- ears/antlers for front teeth and legs for those troublesome back teeth. The squeak is something I would rather wasn't there as if you're somewhere you need quiet toys (airplane...) it's not that helpful, but my children think it's fun. Any friend of my son's wants his Sophie if it's around. We had a get together of 9 babies that were 10 months old and Sophie made the rounds- each child put her straight in their mouth and didn't want to pass it on. Everyone had bought one by the end of the day. :) It comes in a lovely box with a little birth certificate, so makes a great new baby gift, but if you have a baby approaching teething then this is a must have and you should buy it now!..

Brilliant. I bought one for my little girl when she was 4 months and it's been a real hit! She loves to chew / suck the giraffe's legs and can now make it squeak. Every baby should have one!.. Rating: [4 of 5 Stars]
