This Wooden Cursive Alphabet Tracing Boards by The Little Coach House is a double-sided alphabet board, displaying the letters a-z in lower case on one side and A-Z in upper case on the other side in a pre-cursive font. This Tracing board includes a beech wood dowel to practice tracing the letters. These handmade boards are a wonderful Montessori teaching resource that will support children’s letter recognition and alphabet.

The Little Coach House wooden cursive alphabet board is perfect for children in early years education, helping with the movement and letter formation of cursive writing, with a lead-in and lead-out lines on each letter. Children develop the skills for helping with letters recognition as they fill the letters with items such as beads or rice. Later, children will build up muscle memory in their hands as they practice tracing each letter with their fingers or using the tracing stick, ideal preparation for putting pen to paper. The tracing stick helps develop the tripod grip for when they are ready to hold a pencil.
