Babipur X Glosters Pottery Hand Made Radish Mug

A wise man once exclaimed "Radishes aren't even a mainstream veg!" Which was quickly proven very wrong by the wonderful Babipurian community. This is a beautiful Radish mug made by our local Porthmadog potters - Glosters. A large handmade stoneware mug that holds around 3/4 of a pint with two radishes beautifully hand-painted by our incredibly talented in-house designer - Katherine, with 'Radishes are a mainstream veg' scripted underneath. 

This is the perfect mug for those who enjoy a larger tea or coffee (who doesn't?!) and the ideal size for hot chocolate with all the treats on top! The top portion of the mug where the radish is designed is glossed beautifully on a white background, and the bottom part is the raw light tan stoneware clay.

Gloster Pottery made onsite at Glosters in the seaside town of Porthmadog in Wales. Tom (Gloster) started out as a potter in 2004 after studying Applied Arts at the University of Derby. Today Tom is a well established and renowned potter, well known throughout Wales and beyond. Glosters are known for their contemporary range of kitchenware and pots, they regularly receive commissions from restaurants and even TV chefs! Each item of Tom's pottery is made by him completely by hand, it starts its life as a lump of clay on his wheel, and is fired, glazed and finished in the Glosters workshop. Each piece is beautiful and individual.
