Enfys Subarctic ImagiMus

This large Subarctic ImagiMus tie dyed organic muslin in white, blues and greens depicts a snowy polar scene with icy waters, ice burgs, tundra and boreal forest landscapes.

This beautiful, hand tie-dyed organic muslin square is perfect for arctic play scenes and story sacks, use it to create magical dens or as a soft light blanket. ImagiMus play muslins come in their own cotton bag for storing away when not in use. These soft organic muslins are handwoven and sewn in Kerala under fair trade conditions by a women’s co-operative, and hand tie-dyed in the UK using vegan and non-toxic dyes. Team up with wooden polar animals, or use to make a wintery display, each play cloth is beautifully individual and unique (and will be similar but show variations from the image). Inspire open-ended imaginary play with Enfys ImagiMus.

  • Size: 120cm x 120cm
  • Organic cotton/bamboo double thickness muslin
  • Colourfast vegan, non-toxic dyes
  • Machine washable
  • Suitable from 3 years +

Schematic play – Enveloping schema, children will love using play cloths for making dens and wrapping up toys.

ImagiMus hand tie dyed muslins by Enfys open up a world of imaginative and open-ended play. These ethically and sustainably sourced organic cotton muslin from Kerala are handwoven by a family run business that supports fair pay and improved living standards. Headed by Genesh, these muslins are produced in small, artisan batches that are hand woven on small powerlooms or handlooms. Genesh has set up a women’s cooperative called Gramodaya that hand sews each muslin, and is committed to improved opportunities and wages for the 18 self-employed women currently working in the co-operative. Each muslin is then hand dyed and customised by founder Pip using vegan, eco-friendly, non-toxic dyes, giving each one a colourful and uniquely beautiful pattern.
