This majestic Grimm’s Rainbow Lion Building Set is a large set of 27 rainbow coloured and natural wooden blocks in the shape of a noble lion’s head, held withing a wooden frame. The central lions face is made of naturally oiled blocks with an organic shape and natural curves, while his magnificent colourful mane is made from a rainbow of geometric blocks with straight edges and stained with a natural non-toxic water-based dye. Use these open-ended wooden blocks for stacking and building challenges, play scenes and enjoy putting this lion puzzle back together in its frame.

Beautifully eye-catching, educational and open ended

I'll admit, I bought this because it is just so beautiful but I've absolutely made sure we've got lots of use out of it! We use it in lots of ways, as a jigsaw, the pieces have to go back in exactly the correct place and my toddlers really enjoy putting them back in the tray while I (with a picture of it on my phone for reference!) assist them. It's really great for them as it's helped them learn phrases like, 'turn the piece over' and they feel really accomplished when they turn it the correct way and it goes in. They can also more or less do the lion's head themselves now so it's lovely to see them progress. We also use the coloured pieces as water, grass, cliffs etc and the lion's face as giraffes, hippos and fish (LOVE that the pieces are abstract so children need to use their imagination). We build with it and it's good for learning colours and shades of course. I also saw a pic of someone using the lions face part and making a mane out of flowers round it which we'll be trying soon. All in all a beautiful piece which can be used in many ways.

This is absolutely stunning, the colours are really beautiful. It's not cheap, even in the sale, but I haven't seen it anywhere else at this sale price so bought it in advance for when my little grandson is old enough

This is a set we got bought as a gift . It is so beautiful! The face pieces are so clever they look like little cubs . Amazing for little hands for stacking, colour recognition. Small world play and as a great puzzle when putting it away. The colours are so striking and it’s like a work of art when displayed

Roarsome open ended play

We got this for my 3 year old. He has complex health needs and is significantly delayed. The large chunky pieces are great for him and he enjoys stacking and using his rainbows and planks to build with. Our 12 year old has even had a go and enjoys putting it back together! Looks fabulous in the playroom and is great quality as always with Grimm.

Here at Babipur we aim to despatch your orders quickly using Royal Mail, Parcelforce, GLS and other couriers. We pack orders Monday to Saturday, if you need an express delivery option we recommend ordering before 1pm for next working day delivery. Tracking details will be sent to you by email or text.

Returns

If something isn't as expected, doesn't fit, or it's simply not right for you, just return it to us within 60 days of delivery for a no quibble refund. We do ask that items are returned in unused condition if you've simply changed your mind. If you have a faulty or damaged item please get in touch, return it to us for a refund or replacement and we'll cover the return costs.
