Toverlux x Stockmar Wax Decorating Kit for Lantern Shades

Make your own illuminated artwork for the round Toverlux Lantern with this creative wax decorating kit from Toverlux and Stockmar. Decorate the blank translucent shades with flowers, woodland animals, mountains, sailing boats, seasonal pictures, patterns or anything else you would like to see glowing in the light.

• 12 Stockmar decorating wax strips in assorted colours
• Each wax strip measures 20 x 4cm

Please note: This is the wax and shade decorating kit only. The wooden Toverlux Lantern, base and lid shown in the inspiration photographs are sold separately.

Stockmar decorating wax can be cut, stamped, shaped and layered to create both simple pictures and more detailed scenes. Gently warm the wax between your fingers to soften it, then press it directly onto the paper shade. There is no glue needed, and the different colours can be placed over one another to add texture, depth and smaller details.

When the finished shade is wrapped around the Toverlux Lantern, the warm LED light shines through the translucent paper and coloured wax. The colours become beautifully luminous, with the different shapes, layers and textures visible all the way around the lantern.

Make autumn leaves and woodland animals, winter stars and festive scenes, spring flowers, summer landscapes or a picture inspired by a favourite story. The two included shades can be decorated for different seasons, made by two different people or saved for another creative day. Once finished, they make a lovely addition to a seasonal table, reading corner, bedroom shelf or family celebration.
