Each tablemat is made from a blend of natural seagrass and jute, giving a durable, tactile finish that works beautifully with wooden tables and stoneware. Jute comes from the Corchorus plant, a fast-growing crop that absorbs significant amounts of CO2 and can help enrich the soil as it grows. Seagrass is also a rapidly renewable natural material, growing along coastlines and riverbanks.
