Patagonia’s Barely Baggies™ Shorts are women’s beach and sports shorts designed for warm weather, water activities, and relaxed everyday wear. Built with a lower rise and shorter inseam than the classic Baggies™, they offer a lightweight, easy feel that works well for swimming, paddleboarding, coastal walks, festivals, and summer travel. Made from NetPlus® 100% postconsumer recycled nylon faille, created from recycled fishing nets, they help reduce ocean plastic pollution and are finished with a DWR treatment made without added PFAS to shed light moisture. In Peach Sherbet, they come in a bright orange shade.

Designed for movement and comfort, these shorts feature side slits at the hem to allow ease through the leg, whether you are active or relaxing by the water. The elasticated waistband with internal drawcord offers a secure, adjustable fit, while the low-rise cut keeps the silhouette streamlined. Two front side-entry pockets provide practical storage, with a small internal key pocket and elastic key loop on the right side, making them useful for beach days, travel, and casual sports use.

With a 2½ inch or 6cm inseam, the Barely Baggies™ sit shorter on the leg, offering freedom of movement and quick-drying performance. Mesh-lined pockets allow water to drain easily, keeping these shorts practical for use in and out of the water. A subtle P-6 logo at the left hem finishes the design.
