Patagonia Women's Retro Pile Vest - Pelican

The Patagonia Women’s Retro Pile Vest is a warm, sleeveless fleece gilet designed for layering through cooler weather. Ideal as a bodywarmer over knitwear or under a shell, it offers reliable warmth without bulk, making it a versatile piece for everyday outdoor clothing, walking, and casual wear. The vest is made from 100% recycled polyester double-sided shearling fleece, reflecting Patagonia’s long-standing commitment to using recycled materials.

The plush Polartec® shearling fleece provides soft, insulating warmth while remaining breathable and comfortable for all-day wear. Finished in Pelican, a natural cream shade, the fleece is contrasted with sleek dark grey elastic trim and light brown zip pulls, giving the gilet a classic retro look rooted in Patagonia’s fleece heritage. The fabric is durable, easy to wear, and well suited to repeated use across seasons.

This full-zip fleece gilet features a stand-up collar that zips through to help trap warmth around the neck. A hip-length cut makes it easy to layer, while elastic binding at the collar, centre-front zip, armholes, and hem provides a comfortable, skin-friendly finish. Storage is practical and secure, with one zippered chest pocket and two zippered handwarmer pockets, all mesh-lined and finished with webbing zip pulls. Front and back yoke detailing reinforces the retro-inspired design.
