PlanToys Nesting & Stacking Boxes

The PlanToys Nesting & Stacking Boxes are a simple first stacking toy for babies and toddlers, designed to support early learning through hands-on play. This colourful set includes three wooden boxes in different sizes that can be nested inside one another, stacked into a tower, or used in open-ended play in all sorts of different ways.

Nesting and stacking toys are brilliant for helping young children build dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills. As they compare the sizes, work out which box fits where, and practise balancing them on top of each other, they are also developing concentration, problem-solving, and early understanding of size, shape, and order. The simple format leaves plenty of room for imagination too, whether the boxes become building blocks, hiding places, or pretend cooking pots.

Inspired by Montessori-style learning, this is a lovely early years toy for introducing comparison language such as 'bigger' and 'smaller' in a natural, playful way. It is a toy children can come back to again and again, finding new ways to use it as they grow.

Made in Thailand, these wooden nesting boxes are produced from reclaimed rubberwood, with non-toxic glue and water-based dyes. The largest box is red, the middle box is yellow, and the smallest cube is blue.
