Origami Stars Craft Tutorial

Easy to fold 5 pointed origami stars make beautiful Christmas decorations to decorate your tree. They can be made from recycled paper, magazines, sheet music - or how about paper chocolate wrappers? In this tutorial, Judy is going to show us how to make origami stars from Tony's Chocolonely wrappers to make beautiful decorations.
This Christmas craft is a lovely mindful activity for older children and makes use of paper chocolate wrappers. In Japan, origami stars are a special gift representing love and good luck.

Step By Step Guide To Making Origami Stars
All you need to create an origami star is a pair of scissors and a square piece of paper. It may look complicated at first, but once you've done one or two it really is quite easy! Your finished star will be approx. 60% the size of your original square piece of paper.
The first stage involves creating a pentagon from your Tony's wrapper:




Now that you have your pentagon, you can fold your star!
