Founded in 1987, Debresk is a Swedish wooden toy brand created by Joris Dekkers, Konrad Breidenstein and Anders Skånberg. After graduating from a Swedish Waldorf school, they began hand making eco-friendly wooden toys in an ancient corn storehouse at Skäve biodynamic farm. Debresk has since grown, producing high quality wooden toys that aim to spark curiosity and intrigue in children. Their philosophy follows the idea that using live materials helps teach children to care for and nurture their toys as live materials like wood need looking after. These high quality woods ensure Debresk toys have a timeless, heirloom quality that will make them enjoyable for generations to come.
