Bajo Wooden Balancing Scale Game

The Bajo Balance Scale is a wooden balancing game that introduces children to weight, balance, and cause and effect through hands-on play. With a rounded rocking base and a straight balancing beam on top, children place the colourful wooden cylinders into the slots on each side and watch how the scale responds, just like a see-saw in the park.

The set includes ten smooth wooden cylinder blocks in bright colours, designed to be easy for small hands to grasp and position. As children add cylinders to each side, the scale tips and rocks until the weight is evenly balanced and the beam rests level again. This clear, visual feedback makes abstract concepts like balance and gravity easy to understand through play.

Balancing toys like this support early scientific thinking as children explore weight, gravity, and equilibrium. A Brief Bajo Story

Established in the tiny village of Kamionna in Poland, at the foot of the mountain bearing the same name, Bajo were making toys at the break of the '90s when the free market was virtually non-existent in Poland. Bajo produce toys that can be made without the need for specialised skills, in order to employ elderly and disabled individuals, as well as people who find it difficult to compete for work. The toys they make carry notion of solidarity in themselves. In the design process they always focus on the possibilities of reaching out to new people.

Here at Babipur we aim to despatch your orders quickly using Royal Mail, Parcelforce, GLS and other couriers. We pack orders Monday to Saturday, if you need an express delivery option we recommend ordering before 1pm for next working day delivery. Tracking details will be sent to you by email or text.

Returns

If something isn't as expected, doesn't fit, or it's simply not right for you, just return it to us within 60 days of delivery for a no quibble refund. We do ask that items are returned in unused condition if you've simply changed your mind. If you have a faulty or damaged item please get in touch, return it to us for a refund or replacement and we'll cover the return costs.
