Bajo Mathematical Threading Beads Game

The Bajo Mathematical Threading Beads Set is a hands-on wooden maths toy that helps children practise counting, early addition, and subtraction through play. With colourful wooden beads, laces, and a dice, this set turns simple maths learning into an engaging, practical activity.

The set includes 100 smooth wooden beads, five threading laces, and a wooden dice. Children can roll the dice to determine which colour bead to thread next, encouraging colour recognition and basic problem-solving. Threading the beads also helps children build sequences and explore simple sums in a clear, visual way.

Maths toys like this support early maths learning by making numbers tangible. Picking up and threading the beads strengthens fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, while repeated counting and grouping help develop number sense and confidence with early mathematical concepts.

Made from solid, sustainably sourced wood and painted with child-safe eco paints, this is a durable learning resource suitable for both home and classroom use. As the official UK distributor of Bajo wooden toys, Babipur is proud to stock this thoughtfully designed early maths toy, created to support learning through simple, purposeful play.

Bajo Toys

Bajo's beautiful wooden toys have been designed and manufactured in Poland over the last 25 years. These top notch toys are wonderfully tactile and will inspire imaginative play and learning. The manufacturing process is green from start to finish - sustainable wood from beech, birch, sycamore, acacia, cherry, walnut and plum trees is sourced from carefully managed forests in Poland. Skilled crafters transform the wood into toys that are treated with eco, non-toxic paints and oils, and waste wood is turned into fuel briquettes. Bajo toys are great for open-ended play and will be treasured by children for years before being passed on to new generations to be enjoyed all over again.
Bajo Toys
A Brief Bajo Story

A Brief Bajo Story

Established in the tiny village of Kamionna in Poland, at the foot of the mountain bearing the same name, Bajo were making toys at the break of the '90s when the free market was virtually non-existent in Poland. Bajo produce toys that can be made without the need for specialised skills, in order to employ elderly and disabled individuals, as well as people who find it difficult to compete for work. The toys they make carry notion of solidarity in themselves. In the design process they always focus on the possibilities of reaching out to new people.
