I have been trying to use eco friendly alternatives to household products and this is not my favourite one so far. I wanted to love this but was a bit disappointed. While it sometimes works, it seems to leave a strange residue on some things and is just less effective than washing up liquid at leaving things as good as new (e.g. fish smell not removed). I have had to go back to using washing up liquid alongside this.

I was going to buy a refil but then spottted this zero waste soap which goes perfectly with my eco living brush/ stand and soap rest. I put it to the test after cooking a very sticky and greasy pineapple upside down. It worked well. I do use a dishwasher too so this is for the remainder that doesn’t go in the dishwasher. It lathers up well but no bubbles in the water. It does say the water is safe for the garden when done so I will do that when the plants need a drink. Very happy as this sits with my zero waste ethics and is a good alternative to a plastic bottle .

This is a great plastic free alternative to washing up liquid in a bottle. It works well and last for a very long time.
