Ostheimer x Fagus 'Friends by Nature' Wooden Tractor & Farmer Figure Set
The Ostheimer x Fagus Wooden Tractor and Farmer set brings together two long-standing friends in wooden toymaking. United by their respect for children's play and a passion for traditional craftsmanship, Ostheimer and Fagus are, in every sense, friends by nature.
This set includes a traditional wooden tractor by Fagus and a beautifully handmade Ostheimer farmer figure, made for Waldorf-inspired, imaginative play.
The wooden tractor is made by Fagus in Rhede, Germany, from sustainably sourced European beech wood. With chunky wheels, red mudguards, and real steering, it gives children a wonderfully hands-on play experience. Vehicle play like this supports hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, motor skills, and early cause-and-effect learning as children discover how movement, speed, pressure, and direction change the tractor’s path. Fagus vehicles are made in partnership with Büngern-Technik, a workshop for people with disabilities, where each person is supported to contribute through their own strengths.
Ostheimer's farmer figure is handmade in Germany from sustainably sourced maple wood and painted with non-toxic water-based colours that allow the natural wood grain to remain visible. Dressed in a simple outfit and flat cap, this Waldorf-inspired wooden figure can become any character a child’s imagination needs. The figure fits neatly inside the tractor, and many other Ostheimer figures can also be placed inside to support diverse storytelling.
This set works beautifully with Ostheimer farm animals, barns, fences, trees, and seasonal play scenes, making it a strong centrepiece for a natural wooden farm collection. Fagus trailers can be attached to the back of the tractor, and with the separate Ostheimer trailer adapter, families can also connect compatible Ostheimer farm trailers, further expanding farmyard play possibilities. Here at Babipur we aim to despatch your orders quickly using Royal Mail, Parcelforce, GLS and other couriers. We pack orders Monday to Saturday, if you need an express delivery option we recommend ordering before 1pm for next working day delivery. Tracking details will be sent to you by email or text.
Returns
If something isn't as expected, doesn't fit, or it's simply not right for you, just return it to us within 60 days of delivery for a no quibble refund. We do ask that items are returned in unused condition if you've simply changed your mind. If you have a faulty or damaged item please get in touch, return it to us for a refund or replacement and we'll cover the return costs.
