Grapat Bakes is a 12-piece loose parts set of hand painted wooden cakes, pastries, and breads in varying shapes and heights, from 12mm to 38mm. Abstract in form yet lovingly detailed, each piece is decorated with recognisable touches, from swirls of cupcake frosting to delicate dustings of icing sugar.
Arranged together, they look like a bakery window display or a table spread prepared for celebration. Separated and scattered, they become birthday cakes, picnic puddings, and afternoon tea delights.
Symbolic Play and Celebration
Baking is often tied to love, memory and celebration. These pieces invite symbolic play rooted in rituals and special occasions. Children can host tea parties, set the table, serve guests, or prepare something special for a doll or teddy.
Through open-ended play, they explore generosity, hospitality and storytelling. The pieces can also be sorted, grouped by shape and colour, or added to larger small world scenes and mandalas.
Made With Love in Catalunya
Made in Grapat’s family workshop in the Pyrenean mountains of Catalunya, each piece is shaped from sustainably sourced wood from within the EU. They are coloured using water-based, non-toxic dyes and finished with wax or vegetable oils, allowing the natural grain to remain visible. Subtle variations in tone and texture are part of their beauty.

Fast Worldwide Shipping
Here at Babipur we aim to despatch your orders quickly using Royal Mail, Parcelforce, GLS and other couriers. We pack orders Monday to Saturday, if you need an express delivery option we recommend ordering before 1pm for next working day delivery. Tracking details will be sent to you by email or text.
Returns
If something isn't as expected, doesn't fit, or it's simply not right for you, just return it to us within 60 days of delivery for a no quibble refund. We do ask that items are returned in unused condition if you've simply changed your mind. If you have a faulty or damaged item please get in touch, return it to us for a refund or replacement and we'll cover the return costs.
