The Grapat Kind Folks are a set of three hand-painted wooden hanging ornaments, each with its own little face, colourful hat and natural cord loop. Part of Grapat's 2026 ornament collection, these three wooden characters are made for decorating Christmas trees, festive branches, garlands, gifts and seasonal displays.

Each of the three Kind Folks is different, with its own shape, expression and beautifully painted details. One wears a striped green and blue hat, another has a wide yellow hat, while the third has a playful multicoloured cap. Small wooden beads complete each hanging figure, with plenty of natural wood left visible between Grapat's distinctive colours.

They have that lovely Grapat mix of simple wooden forms and tiny characterful details. Hang all three together on the Christmas tree, spread them around a festive display or let children choose a special place for each one. They would also make gorgeous reusable gift decorations, with the ornament becoming an extra little present once the wrapping is opened.

Unlike decorations that are bought for one Christmas and forgotten, these are the sort of wooden Christmas ornaments you can bring out year after year. The three characters can become familiar faces in the family decorations, with the natural wood gradually gathering all those little associations that come with unpacking the Christmas box each winter.

Each piece is painted by hand, so the colour sits with the grain and character of the wood rather than hiding it completely. Grapat uses water-based dyes and finishes its wooden pieces with waxes and oils of vegetable origin. The wood comes from sustainably managed forests and is PEFC certified.
