Ethically made in Sri Lanka from sustainably sourced rubberwood, this sturdy toy gives rubber trees a new purpose once they’ve finished producing natural latex.
Painted on both sides with non-toxic colours and left natural around the edges to highlight the stunning wood grain, this chunky rhino is safe for babies and toddlers to mouth and explore. Its simple, recognisable design makes it a wonderful learning tool for teaching children about endangered animals and wildlife conservation from an early age.
At 25mm thick, the tactile wooden rhino is easy for little hands to grasp, stand up, and move around in imaginative play scenes. Suitable from 10 months, it’s a brilliant introduction to wild animal figures that inspire curiosity, creativity, and storytelling about life on the African plains.
At Babipur, we’re proud to have been championing Lanka Kade’s sustainable and ethical toys for almost 20 years. Each figure is handmade under fair trade conditions in small workshops in Sri Lanka, providing fairly paid work for over 200 families and supporting local schools.

Here at Babipur we aim to despatch your orders quickly using Royal Mail, Parcelforce, GLS and other couriers. We pack orders Monday to Saturday, if you need an express delivery option we recommend ordering before 1pm for next working day delivery. Tracking details will be sent to you by email or text.
Returns
If something isn't as expected, doesn't fit, or it's simply not right for you, just return it to us within 60 days of delivery for a no quibble refund. We do ask that items are returned in unused condition if you've simply changed your mind. If you have a faulty or damaged item please get in touch, return it to us for a refund or replacement and we'll cover the return costs.
