Handmade from fast-growing natural fibres, these round tablemats protect surfaces from scratches, heat marks, and spills while adding a warm, woven finish to family meals, dinner parties, and kitchen tables.
Each tablemat is made from a blend of natural seagrass and jute, giving a durable, tactile finish that works beautifully with wooden tables and stoneware. Jute comes from the Corchorus plant, a fast-growing crop that absorbs significant amounts of CO2 and can help enrich the soil as it grows. Seagrass is also a rapidly renewable natural material, growing along coastlines and riverbanks. Together, these fibres make a strong and stylish alternative to plastic placemats, with a timeless look that fits naturally into the home.
Choose from three different colour palettes to suit your home:
- Naturals - two white, two grey, and two natural rims for a calming, natural vibe
- Brights - two yellow, two orange, and two green rims with a summery citrus feel
- Rainbow - each rim in a different bright colour for a quirky and unique look
The tablemats are coloured with non-toxic dyes and tested safe for food contact. Each mat is finished with a small fabric ReSpiin label stitched onto the edge. Matching ReSpiin coaster sets are also available at Babipur for a coordinated table setting.

Here at Babipur we aim to despatch your orders quickly using Royal Mail, Parcelforce, GLS and other couriers. We pack orders Monday to Saturday, if you need an express delivery option we recommend ordering before 1pm for next working day delivery. Tracking details will be sent to you by email or text.
Returns
If something isn't as expected, doesn't fit, or it's simply not right for you, just return it to us within 60 days of delivery for a no quibble refund. We do ask that items are returned in unused condition if you've simply changed your mind. If you have a faulty or damaged item please get in touch, return it to us for a refund or replacement and we'll cover the return costs.
