The Senger Naturwelt Small Cuddly Crab is a calming, warming soft toy, designed to offer gentle comfort through natural materials and thoughtful design. Designed by Senger Naturwelt in Germany and handmade in their in-house sewing workshop in Latvia, this small crab is made from GOTS certified organic cotton in a soft, creamy linen tone and filled with pure natural sheep’s wool. A removable inner pillow allows the crab to be gently warmed or cooled, making them a soothing presence for rest, relaxation, and everyday comfort.

Inside the crab’s belly sits a removable pillow filled with natural grape seeds. When warmed, the pillow provides gentle heat that can help soothe aches, support calm moments, and bring comfort during pre-bedtime routines. When cooled, it offers refreshing relief on warm days or gentle comfort for bumps and sore spots. The zipper at the bottom of the crab’s belly allows the pillow to be easily removed for safe heating or cooling.

How to Heat and Cool the Senger Naturwelt Crab

Always remove the grape seed pillow from the crab’s belly before heating. Only the pillow  may be heated, not the whole animal.

Heating:
The grape seed pillow can be warmed in the microwave for approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute at a maximum of 600W. Alternatively, it can be warmed in the oven at 75°C for 3 to 5 minutes. Do not overheat. Always check the temperature with your hand before placing it back inside the toy. Overheating may cause burns or damage the pillow, especially when used with newborns.

Cooling:
For cooling, place the pillow in the fridge for a few hours or overnight. It can also be placed in the freezer for a stronger cooling effect. Wrap the pillow in a freezer bag before freezing to protect it from moisture.
