Looking for fun outdoor toys to keep kids active? The Lanka Kade Skipping Rope is a fair trade classic that encourages movement, coordination and outdoor play. Each rope comes with beautifully hand-painted wooden handles in a variety of colourful designs, from animals to patterns, bringing extra joy to every jump.

Skipping is a brilliant way for children to build gross motor skills, balance and coordination, while also boosting stamina and confidence. Kids can count their jumps, learn playground songs, or play with friends to practise communication and teamwork. A simple skipping rope becomes a versatile tool for learning through active play.

Made from sustainably sourced alstonia wood with handles painted in non-toxic colours, these skipping ropes are handmade in Sri Lanka under fair trade conditions. Lanka Kade’s ethical production supports over 200 local families with fairly paid work and funds educational initiatives across the country.

At Babipur, we love how Lanka Kade combines play value, eco-friendly design and social impact. These skipping ropes are durable, affordable and make thoughtful gifts, whether as party favours, stocking fillers or active toys that will be enjoyed for years.
