I bought them to use with the Trigonos play den and a Wonderie cloth. When I saw the price of these I thought I must be mad to buy these, why wouldn't regular clothes pegs do? But I have to say these have been an absolute hit with my 5 year old, actually getting more play time than either the den or cloth (though these are beautiful) - this is not a sleight on those items, just a comment on how great these clips are. The chunky size, the curved edges and soft quality to the wood is really tactile. They seem a little expensive for what they are, but they are really well constructed and such a clever idea because their large size means that little hands can easily peg up cloths and muslins on the den. They also are gentle enough that they cannot pinch and hurt themselves with them (unlike regular clothes pegs)
My 5 year old has loved playing with them in isolation, creating tessellations, new grabbing devices. A surprising open-ended toy. If the price is making you hesitate like it did me, I would say for my child at least, these have been much greater value for money than other more expensive typical "toys".

My son gravitated to these at a friends house and I have bought them for Christmas for him. He loves using them to pick things up and the motion of using them, I imagine they will grow very well with him when he’s making more complex structures like dens and such like

Great for making dens, but apparently also good to just sit and play with while on the sofa, good to strengthen hand muscles

Has taken our den play to the next level, but so many other creative uses and easy for little hands to grip

Lovely big pegs, great for attaching blankets to the Triclimb. We also use them to squeeze and build up hand and finger muscle strength which then aids writing skills later down the line.
The design of them with the rubber band in the middle means that they can’t be broken easily either.
