Triclimb wooden Miri slide attached to a natural Triclimb wooden pikler climbing frame showing the smooth side of the slide that can be used as a ramp or slide.

Triclimb Miri Slide V2

£165.00

Triclimb Miri V2 Reversible Slide & Climbing Wall

The Miri is a reversible wooden slide, ramp, climbing wall, play surface, and bridge for children. It connects securely to your Triclimb triangle (sold separately) without any tools, creating a stable platform for climbing, sliding, balancing, and imaginative play.

Designed to expand your Triclimb play possibilities, Miri encourages safe, self-paced movement and exploration. Its unique Trifix joint system locks neatly onto Triclimb rungs to create a strong, reliable, and easy-to-use play accessory for both children and toys.

Miri is the first Pikler-style slide to attach securely, pass full safety testing, and work properly as both a slide and climbing wall. Every detail is carefully developed to ensure perfect compatibility, stability, and ease of use.

Made in Wales from marine-grade FSC/PEFC-certified birch plywood, Miri is finished with a child-safe water-based lacquer and paint. Every design choice is made for safety, longevity, and play value.

Miri as a Slide or Ramp: Attach Miri with the smooth side facing up to create a slide or ramp. Adjust the angle by using different rungs. Children who have mastered climbing up their Triclimb will love sliding back down, and it’s just as fun for toy cars and balls too.

Miri as a Climbing Wall: Flip Miri over to the side with the holes facing up. These holes are designed to help children learn to grip, balance, and climb using their fingers, hands, and toes. The size and spacing have been carefully planned to support natural movement and build strength, coordination, and confidence.

The holes themselves offer a fantastic climbing experience. Children instinctively explore how to use them, discovering how their bodies move and how to shift their weight safely. This kind of tactile, body-led play strengthens muscles, supports gross motor development, and builds trust in their own abilities.

For extra variety, add Miri sticks (sold separately). These wooden climbing sticks slot securely into the holes to create handholds and footholds that extend outwards, adding new challenges and different climbing patterns. Although they slide in and out easily, the structure is incredibly strong, holding up to 100Kg under testing.

Miri as a Play Surface or Ball Run: When placed flat, Miri becomes a versatile play platform. The holes and Miri sticks can be used together to make marble runs, ramps, and small-world play scenes. It’s ideal for open-ended play, block building, and experiments with movement and gravity.

Trifix Locking System: An ingenious joint system connects Miri and Triclimb securely without tools, ensuring a stable and safe platform for play. The combined system has a 100Kg weight limit and is safety tested to UK, EU, and worldwide standards. Miri is one of the few slides that locks in place and passes independent toy testing.

Miri V2: The Version 2 Miri Slide integrates the Trifix joint into the top of the frame for a cleaner design and simpler setup.

Extended Play Options: The Miri slide includes fixings at the base that allow the addition of another Trifix joint (sold separately). With this feature, a second Triclimb or Archi frame can be attached to both ends, creating bridges, climbing challenges, and connected play courses. This is a popular option for nurseries and playschools.

Inspired by the Pikler Philosophy

The ideas behind Triclimb and Miri trace back to Dr. Emmi Pikler, a pioneering paediatrician who championed respectful relationships, freedom of movement, and self-initiated play. She believed that children thrive when allowed to explore their abilities naturally and at their own pace.

The Triclimb triangle honours these principles, and the Miri slide enhances them by adding new dimensions of movement, coordination, and joy.

Fun addition to the tri-climb

Bought this as main Christmas present for 1 year old at the same time as the tri-climb. She has not been confident enough yet to go down the slide but we use it to make a bridge by placing the end on the sofa and she enjoys crawling or walking along it like that. My 5 year old certainly has no qualms zooming down the slide! I looked at many different climbing frames trying to decide which was best, whilst trying to save money where possible. But I kept noticing bad reviews about unfinished wood that could potentially cause splinters or other issues with poor quality and each time kept coming back to tri-climb. I realised that ultimately it would be worth splurging for durability, high quality and also, importantly, a product made locally and sustainably! It’s a beautiful product and you soon get the hang of quickly setting it up and adding on the attachments (we also got the arben seat and wibli ladder), once you figure out the best order to add them in. The initial assembly, which we did on the big day, wasn’t too arduous despite the fact we didn’t have a drill and had to do all the Allen key turning by hand.

Particularly good for longevity of the triclimb

For us, the slide has really extended the use of the triclimb, as the frame itself no longer poses a physical challenge. Even though he can now tackle much longer slides at the park, my son still loves this little one at home. It makes a great ramp too.

Kids of all ages will love this

The miri has been a long awaited addition to the triclimb we got for my first daughter's birthday a few years ago. Now on number 2 and both kids are going to get so much enjoyment from playing together with this and helping each other out. It's smooth, very tactile and will be used for all sorts of creations and games as well as sliding. I can't wait for Christmas play with this.

Perfect addition!

Perfect addition to the triclimb triangle frame, extending it's life so it's still suitable for our 2/3 year old. Used as a slide for our child and also a ramp for lots of her soft animals, cars and balls! It also helped our 1 year old learn how to safely get to the seated position from a ladder. Easy to slide away and store under our sofa. Recommended.

Excellent addition to the triclimb

The Miri is an excellent addition to the triclimb and adds so much more fun! It’s a godsend when it’s raining and you have little ones who need to burn off energy. We use ours as a slide, and when propped up on the sofa, a shop and cafe. We love it.

Triclimb - Pikler Triangle

Peter and Jolene were always getting asked when they were going to stock a Pikler style climbing frame, and so after searching high and low and not finding one that met their standards, they started the journey to find a designer who could bring a modern version of the Pikler triangle to life. The origins of the Pikler triangle climbing frame come from Emmi Pikler a Hungarian Paediatrician who pioneered theories on child development in the 1930/40s. Centered around a respectful relationship between infant and parent as well as natural progression of motor development through free movement and play. Emmi Pikler believed it was important to offer children the opportunities to move naturally according to their inherent ability.

Endless Possibilities

Endless Possibilities

A classic climbing triangle with a modern twist. Its primary function is to aid climbing and encourage movement in young children but Triclimb is so much more than that. Triclimb features a wonderfully simple but Innovative design which gives it a graphical purity both when poised and ready for play or when folded for storage. An open ended developmental toy that’s not just for climbing, simultaneously encouraging play, movement and expression.
