This woodland adventure playground is made from natural FSC alder and hazel wood complete with bark and finished with linseed oil. This set includes four raised platforms, two sets of wooden stairs, a rope swing, suspended treetop ladder, crows’ nest, two hammocks and a cosy hideout. Its clever design means that this adventure playground can fold together to make it more compact for storage or fold out to fit a narrow ledge such as a shelf or windowsill. This adventure tree playground requires self-assembly, with each wooden part simply screwing together to form a strong and stable structure. Magic Wood are committed to producing their wooden toys in a social, and environmentally responsible way. The wood used for their toys is from sustainable FSC timber and their wooden blocks and treehouses are sourced from reclaimed branches – no living tree is felled for their manufacture. Each part is carefully sanded and finished with natural and non-toxic flaxseed oil for durability and playability, and the bark is left on for natural texture. Bark covered blocks are heat treated to fuse the bark to the wood, providing a strong and robust bond, but please bear in mind it is a natural product which may be affected by heat, moisture or wear.
