This Mamalila Shelter Babywearing Rain Jacket is solid mid-blue in colour, with a hood and taped seams making it reliably waterproof while remaining lightweight and breathable. Included with the jacket are two separate zip-in panels, one for wearing when pregnant and one for wearing over a baby carrier. This women's fit baby carrying jacket is designed to be worn through pregnancy, when baby-wearing and fit your normal size too. The outer layer shakes off light rain showers and keeps the wind at bay, with taped seams and water resistant zips making it reliably waterproof. Wear from spring through to autumn as a light, waterproof outdoor jacket, and in winter over an additional insulating layer.

This Mamalila jacket has a flattering, slim fit with a sporty look, cosy cuffs and draw-string hood to keep out the elements. The two-way hood is adjustable and can be stowed away in the collar when not needed. Attach the maternity or baby-wearing panels if required. When in baby-wearing mode, click the baby's hood onto your jacket for added neck support.

This Mamalila hardshell jacket is made up of three laminated layers of soft durable technical fabric – first layer:  94 % polyester, 6 % spandex, second layer: Membrane: 100 % polyurethane, third layer: 100 % polyester. They have an eco-friendly waterproof coating that makes raindrops bead and run off. Eco-friendly FC-free, PFOS/PFOA/PTFE-free - coatings can be biologically broken down without contaminating waterways.

Caring for your jacket

• Machine-washable at 40 degrees. Do not use fabric softener. 
• To refresh the water-repelling properties, either tumble-dry on medium or iron at a low temperature 
• Re-waterproof periodically as required with an FC-free product such as Nikwax from an outdoor retailer
