Stunning! Highly recommend!

Quality is absolutely stunning...all the wooden pieces have very smooth edges so there is no way it would cut my toddler's fingers. The puzzle pieces are easy to pick up for my 9 month old baby and she likes to pick them out. I have the Bajo whale puzzle and the Bajo butterfly puzzle too and those are beautiful too. My baby enjoys all of these puzzles and it helps her work on fine motor skills. Since these puzzles are painted on both faces/sides, you can use them as characters too for role play. Also they can stand up on the shelf for display. They are more expensive than the average puzzle however it is worth the price for the quality is so much better. This also makes a beautiful gift!

Bajo Toys

Bajo's beautiful wooden toys have been designed and manufactured in Poland over the last 25 years. These top notch toys are wonderfully tactile and will inspire imaginative play and learning. The manufacturing process is green from start to finish - sustainable wood from beech, birch, sycamore, acacia, cherry, walnut and plum trees is sourced from carefully managed forests in Poland. Skilled crafters transform the wood into toys that are treated with eco, non-toxic paints and oils, and waste wood is turned into fuel briquettes. Bajo toys are great for open-ended play and will be treasured by children for years before being passed on to new generations to be enjoyed all over again.

A Brief Bajo Story

A Brief Bajo Story

Established in the tiny village of Kamionna in Poland, at the foot of the mountain bearing the same name, Bajo were making toys at the break of the '90s when the free market was virtually non-existent in Poland. Bajo produce toys that can be made without the need for specialised skills, in order to employ elderly and disabled individuals, as well as people who find it difficult to compete for work. The toys they make carry notion of solidarity in themselves. In the design process they always focus on the possibilities of reaching out to new people.
