Grimm's Large Rainbow (12 Pieces)
This enormous wooden rainbow might just be the most amazing thing in your playroom. The possibilities for creative play are endless with this gorgeous wooden rainbow and the 12 blocks can be used in a myriad of ways - as tunnels and bridges for cars, cots for baby dolls, animal shelters or farm fences. They are even big enough for small children to crawl through and can be spread out to make mermaid tails for their young owners, and balanced one on top of another to make elaborate sculptures. Please note that knots, patterns and rich grain colours are part of the natural beauty of the wood and are not faults. Each rainbow is cut from a single block of wood and you'll often see the same features continuing through the various rainbow pieces.
This rainbow set has been cut from a single piece of lime wood and naturally stained using non-toxic, water-based colour. This natural finish allows the grain of the wood to shine through and ensures that these wave blocks are safe for little ones and perfect for natural play. Children will enjoy stacking, sorting and building with this set for years to come and it will brighten up any mantelpiece or coffee table when it is eventually outgrown, before being enjoyed again by the next generation.

We love the rainbow. It has been a ball run, part of castle builds, backdrops to different scenes, chairs for cuddly toys, stacked into a tower... so many possibilities! Now we just need the semi-circles to extend the play!

My 2 year old plays with this quite a lot. Sometimes, I encourage her and suggest ways to use it. Sometimes she grabs it herself. She spent a long time knocking over my rainbow towers and now she is starting to build them too. When she was small, she used to sit in the biggest part and rock. We also use it as toy animal enclosures and bridges and tunnels for cars. And I think, as she grows, we will only use it more. It also looks cheerful on our windowsill, and that brings me a little extra joy!
This was our first ever purchase from Babipur and one that has bought endless amounts of open ended play hours to our family. A must have for every family. It sits on our living room shelf as a decorative ornament when not in use too.
The rainbow is perhaps what Grimms is most famous for and there is good reason for it! The open ended play opportunities are endless. We love making tunnels, building stacks, creating a zoo and making mazes with ours the most.
