Nic Toys Solid Beech Wooden Rocking Horse
The Nic Toys Wooden Rocking Horse is a beautifully sturdy solid beech rocking horse with long curved runners, wooden handles, footrests and a tactile felt mane. Made in Germany, this is a substantial traditional rocking horse designed for years of galloping, balancing and imaginative play.
Climb aboard, hold the handles and a shift of body weight sets the horse rocking backwards and forwards. Children gradually discover how their own movements control the speed and rhythm, naturally encouraging balance, coordination, core strength and whole-body control as they play.
Nic has kept the design beautifully simple, with a little wooden saddle, easy-to-grip handles, footrests for young riders and a soft felt mane to stroke. The natural beech lets the shape and grain of the wood shine through, giving it that lovely traditional rocking horse feel.
Then imagination takes over. It might be a racehorse, a pony heading across the fields, a trusty companion on an adventure or a horse that needs feeding, grooming and putting to bed after a very busy day. A rocking horse is such a classic open-ended role play toy because the movement stays familiar while the story can change completely.
The sweeping wooden runners give children a satisfying rocking motion, but Nic has also designed them so they only swing to a certain point, helping prevent the horse from rocking far enough to overturn. It is a thoughtful bit of engineering tucked into a very traditional design.
Measuring 83cm long x 32cm wide x 63cm high, with a seat height of approximately 41.5cm, this is a proper piece of wooden play equipment rather than a small toddler rocker. The solid beech construction gives it the robust feel Nic toys are known for, with the kind of timeless design and durability that makes it an heirloom toy to pass on between siblings and through generations.
Made in Germany from solid beech wood. Nic uses selected European woods from forests certified for sustainable forestry management and tested, certified finishes, primarily water-based.

Here at Babipur we aim to despatch your orders quickly using Royal Mail, Parcelforce, GLS and other couriers. We pack orders Monday to Saturday, if you need an express delivery option we recommend ordering before 1pm for next working day delivery. Tracking details will be sent to you by email or text.
Returns
If something isn't as expected, doesn't fit, or it's simply not right for you, just return it to us within 60 days of delivery for a no quibble refund. We do ask that items are returned in unused condition if you've simply changed your mind. If you have a faulty or damaged item please get in touch, return it to us for a refund or replacement and we'll cover the return costs.
