Ostheimer Small Bison Calf Wooden Toy Figure

The Ostheimer Small Bison is a beautifully hand carved wooden bison calf, perfect for Waldorf-inspired small world play and wildlife storytelling. With its distinctive red-brown body and head gently tilted down in a grazing position, this young bison captures the early life of these impressive prairie animals.

Bison calves are lighter in colour than the adults and have not yet grown their thick dark coats. Figures like this help children discover different animal species through imaginative play, fostering curiosity about wildlife and the natural world. Ostheimer figures have simple forms and hand painted features that leave space for imagination, encouraging open-ended storytelling and creative play.

Each figure is traditionally hand carved from sustainably sourced wood in Germany. The wood is painted with non-toxic water-based colours that allow the natural grain to remain visible, then sealed with organic plant oils to create a smooth, tactile finish that feels warm in the hand. Fast Worldwide Shipping

Here at Babipur we aim to despatch your orders quickly using Royal Mail, Parcelforce, GLS and other couriers. We pack orders Monday to Saturday, if you need an express delivery option we recommend ordering before 1pm for next working day delivery. Tracking details will be sent to you by email or text.

Returns

If something isn't as expected, doesn't fit, or it's simply not right for you, just return it to us within 60 days of delivery for a no quibble refund. We do ask that items are returned in unused condition if you've simply changed your mind. If you have a faulty or damaged item please get in touch, return it to us for a refund or replacement and we'll cover the return costs.
