Toverlux Martinmas Autumn Silhouette DIY Craft Kit | Vogel Geluk Design
Create a glowing piece of autumn art with the Toverlux Autumn Silhouette DIY Craft Kit. Designed by Dutch visual artist Linda of Vogel Geluk, the recycled PET panel features a simple black silhouette of trees and a child carrying a lantern through the forest. Tear, arrange, and layer the 20 colours of tissue paper to fill the open spaces, transforming Linda’s hand-drawn template into an autumn scene that is completely your own.
Simply tear the tissue paper into different shapes, experiment with overlapping colours, and use the included brush and Mod Podge to secure each piece. Younger children can enjoy creating alongside a grown-up, while older children can follow Linda’s clear instructions more independently.
The artwork is inspired by Martinmas, a European autumn tradition in which children make homemade lanterns before walking together through the darkness. Often celebrated within Waldorf communities, the lantern represents warmth, kindness, and the light we carry with us as the seasons change. Families do not need to celebrate Martinmas to find meaning in the scene. Display your finished silhouette for Halloween or Calan Gaeaf, add it to an autumn nature table, use it during seasonal storytelling, or let it inspire a new autumn tradition unique to your family.
Once complete, slot the panel directly into a Toverlux Magic Lamp or Window Frame. Light shines through the tissue paper to reveal its colours, layers, and depth, illuminating the child’s lantern against the dark autumn woodland. Made from strong recycled PET that will not wrinkle, the finished artwork can be brought out year after year as part of your family’s seasonal rhythm. Here at Babipur we aim to despatch your orders quickly using Royal Mail, Parcelforce, GLS and other couriers. We pack orders Monday to Saturday, if you need an express delivery option we recommend ordering before 1pm for next working day delivery. Tracking details will be sent to you by email or text.
Returns
If something isn't as expected, doesn't fit, or it's simply not right for you, just return it to us within 60 days of delivery for a no quibble refund. We do ask that items are returned in unused condition if you've simply changed your mind. If you have a faulty or damaged item please get in touch, return it to us for a refund or replacement and we'll cover the return costs.
