This Cellulose Facial Sponge from A Slice Of Green is a slim, round, natural yellow, cellulose facial sponge. This cellulose sponge is made from wood pulp and cotton, so it’s fully home compostable and biodegradable. It is highly absorbent and so is great for cleaning away makeup and oil, and fab for using with your daily cleanser. Just dampen it with warm water and use it in a soothing circular motion, leaving the skin refreshed and clean.  

Cellulose are a fab plastic sponge alternative, making a really positive impact on the planet and cutting down on plastic waste. One sponge can last indefinitely if looked after well, but with everyday use it’s likely to last around 6 months. It can be washed in the washing machine, dish washer, or can be soaked in vinegar for 5 minutes before rinsing and being left to dry out.
