What does Babi Pur mean? We hear you ask.  It is Welsh for ‘Pure Baby'

Babi Pur is fast becoming a ‘one stop shop' for ethical and environmentally friendly baby products. 

We are the leading on-line retailer selling  Organic & Fair Trade products for babies and children.  We are a family owned business and we pride ourselves on being able to offer that personal touch.  As well as our online shop we also have a Baby & Toy shop in Porthmadog, Gwynedd, North Wales.

We specialise in Organic baby Clothes , Toys and Washable Nappies.  

Not only do we sell clothing for babies, we also stock a selection of beautiful organic clothing for Children from the age of 2 to 6.  Our range is very stylish yet practical as well as being eco friendly and Fair Trade.  Some of our clothes carry the Fairtrade Foundation Mark (that's the one on the coffee and bananas) or the International Fair Trade association label.  Our Clothing is made from natural fibres such as organic cotton, bamboo and Wool and we stock clothing from ethical brands which include Frugi, Green Baby, Organics for Kids and Piccalilly.  For Mums, we have Maternity and nursing wear by Frugi and Bamboo Baby.  For more information about the benefits of organic and Fair Trade baby clothing please read "why buy Fairtrade and Organic cotton baby clothes?"

Washable Nappies are a little passion of ours! 

Having used Cloth Nappies our own children and tested most brands extensively we can provide you with friendly advice either over the phone or by email.  Our ever growing range of Washable nappies have been tried and tested and get great reviews.  We stock favourite brands such as bumGenius and Close Parent.  The bumGenius one size V3 is a very popular nappy which is easy to use, reliable and looks great too!  The FLIP nappy by the makers of bumGenius is fast becoming a popular Cloth nappy choice due to its flexibility.  We love the bumGenius ‘organic' nappy as it's so absorbent, fantastically soft and is of course natural and soft against baby's bottom.   The original Pop-in nappy by Close Parent is made from bamboo fibre which is very absorbent and slim fitting - our customers seem to love the Pop-in nappy as it is one of the most reliable nappies on the market.  We also stock the Pop-in Dream Dri nappy which is a microfiber version - this nappy dries a lot faster than the bamboo version.  You will also find Tots Bots nappies, buckets, boosters, swim nappies and more in our Washable Nappy section.

We believe that children should be playing with toys and not making them, so we have researched our products thoroughly to ensure Fair Trade standards are met and that there is no child Labour.  We specialise in Plan Toys which is a fantastic Green Toy company who make beautiful wooden toys for different child developmental stages.  Plan Toys are Safe, fun and educational at the same time.  We stock a huge range which includes wooden baby toys, rocking horses, building blocks, Dolls Houses, Train Sets and much more...  We also sell many other brands for example Lanka Kade who make beautiful Clocks, Mobiles and Jigsaws for babies and children.  These make fantastic birthday presents or newborn baby gifts.  And not forgetting our rag dolls!  We love our Fair Trade rag dolls by Imajo.  We have our own range of Fair Trade crochet toys and blankets which are made especially for us in Bangladesh  - we are very proud of this range which is all handmade and of course Fair Trade.  Our wooden balance bikes by Early Rider are very popular, these are the leading brand in balance bikes and the craftsmanship really shows and makes them stand out.  Our Keptin jr baby comforters are great for soothing little babies as they are completely natural and safe to chew and suck on, they make great newborn baby gifts!

Baby products which are Safe and non-toxic - Chemical free and Natural 

These days many parents are looking for non toxic, chemical free natural products for their babies and children.  We now sell organic cot, bed and mosses basket mattresses which are completely natural and free from any chemicals which are normally present.  They're made using natural materials such as coconut coir, mohair, organic cotton and organic Welsh wool.  We also sell organic cotton bedding, sheets, blankets and mattress protectors.  For parents who feed their babies from a bottle, we have BPA free feeding sets and bottles by Think Baby.
