Bajo Mendelson Balancing Game

The Bajo Mendelson Balancing Game is a set of 15 wooden figures that makes a stimulating balancing game that will challenge whoever plays with them. A game of skill, balance and patience. 

Children and adults alike will enjoy playing with these wooden people in a variety of ways - stack them up to make human pyramids and towers, upright or upside down; make patterns; use them as maths toys and counters, and as part of imaginative play in combination with wooden blocks and other toys from Babipur. We think that the Mendelson figures can be utilised as soldiers to protect a fairy castle, populate a train station in a toy train set, and tend wooden farm animals - the possibilities are endless!

Parents and educators interested in Montessori theory will love this versatile wooden toy that can be used for education and play in a variety of ways. Grasping, moving and positioning the 15 Mendelson figures will develop children's dexterity, and hand-eye coordination as well as encourage concentration, and creative and imaginative play - on their own or co-operatively with friends and siblings.  A second set is recommended for children who are eager to build larger structures.

This set was designed by Wojciech Bajor, head designer at Bajo, and ethically made using solid, sustainably sourced wood in Poland.
