Frugi Little Adventurers Backpack - Fir Tree / Rainbow Leaves

Childhoods are full of adventures, so make sure your little one is prepared with the Frugi Little Adventurers Backpack! In a Fir Tree and Rainbow Leaves print, this backpack has a handy detachable reign that can be clipped on and off, holding your child back if they venture a little too far!

Made from post-consumer recycled plastic, this backpack if perfect for days out with its detachable rein, two zipped pockets, reflective print details, padded back and adjustable shoulder straps and chest strap for a comfy fit. This gorgeous kids backpack has a blue and green colour scheme, with an all-over print featuring adorable woodland critters such as badgers and squirrels. 

Not all plastics are bad! Frugi take plastic bottles made with polythene (PET), scrub them clean, shred them into little flakes which are turned into small pellets. The chips are melted down and spun into super-soft yarn which is woven into recycled polyester fabric and is transfer printed using environmentally friendly inks for a low environmental impact. Happy Frugi workers use this fabric to make fantastic Puddle Buster jackets and trousers as well as lunch bags, pencil cases and backpacks. It takes about 20 plastic bottles to make a Puddle Buster jacket in age 5-6 and three bottles to make a Frugi lunch bag.

The circularity aspect, which means that these clothes are designed to be recycled once they become completely worn out, is a big part of this, too!
