Patagonia Little Kids Sun Bucket Hat - Volcano Dazed Small: Iggy Blue
Patagonia Little Kid's Sun Bucket Hat - Volcano Dazed Small: Iggy Blue
The Patagonia Kid's Sun Bucket Hat is a reversible hat with a removable velcro chin strap. This Iggy Blue hat is a light blue with colourful wildlife graphics on one side and lime green on the reverse side.
Made from wind and water resistant, NetPlus® 100% recycled nylon, this children's hat provides all day protection from sun rays. The DWR (durable water resistant) finish makes this a great beach option as it can be worn in and out of the water. Small button holes allow the chin strap to be easily removed and swapped to the reverse side.
Using recycled nylon to manufacture this hat plays an important part in reducing ocean pollution as each one is made using recycled fishing nets.

Material: 4-ply, 4.9-oz NetPlus® 100% post consumer recycled nylon faille made from recycled fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution; with a PFC-free DWR finish (durable water repellent coating that does not contain perfluorinated chemicals)
NetPlus®: NetPlus® material is made from 100% recycled discarded fishing nets collected in fishing communities in South America. Patagonia have been supporting this program for a number of years and are rapidly expanding its use across their synthetic fabric ranges. A fully traceable postconsumer recycled material that actively recovers plastic waste from the oceans. Fishing nets are often discarded into the ocean due to a lack of end of life solutions or breakages. These discarded nets choke the oceans polluting and damaging marine life. The NetPlus program aims to recover this waste and give it value while also providing an income for local communities.Â
We're proud to be stocking patagonia at Babipur, the pioneers of responsible business practices! Patagonia were one of the earliest adopters of organic cotton recognising the damage that pesticides had on the earth and making the switch back in 1994. A core value is to make the very best quality product because better products last longer and the longer products last the less that have to be made. Materials and manufacturing are carefully considered to ensure minimal impact from creation through to disposal.
Patagonia's continued efforts to reduce and even reverse the impacts of commercial activities is awe-inspiring. Investment in environmental causes and activism, sourcing of reused, recycled and low impact materials, fair trade certifications and initiatives to help other companies achieve higher sustainability levels, Patagonia lead the way. Not satisfied with pushing for change within their own industry Patagonia have begun a food division looking to change farming practices for the better too. Now a global brand using their increased influence for the greater good and still independently owned.
