PlanToys Wooden Mandala Set 

The PlanToys Mandala Set is a lovely relaxing mindfulness activity for children and adults. The PlanToys Mandala Set includes a circular cloth play base, 60 mandala pieces in a range of shapes and pastel colours and a cotton storage bag. Relaxing and meditative, the PlanToys Mandala Set will help reduce tension and improve concentration. When creating a mandala, pieces are first placed in the centre and gradually expand outwards following a symmetrical pattern. There's no right or wrong way to make a mandala, simply follow your own creative path and see what happens. For those who prefer to follow a pattern, there's a handy guidance sheet with examples to follow. The pieces can be added flat following the concentric rings on the play base or built up into 3D structures. This is a wonderful activity for exploring creativity and developing fine motor skills, visual perception, decision making and concentration. The play base makes a great travel mat, keeping your mandala pieces confined while you're out and about.
