This Cellulose Household Sponge from A Slice Of Green is a chunky rectangular natural yellow cellulose sponge. These cellulose sponges are made from wood pulp and cotton, so they are fully home compostable and biodegradable. They are highly absorbent and so are great for household cleaning, decorating, car washing, window cleaning, etc.  

Cellulose are a fab plastic sponge alternative, making a really positive impact on the planet and cutting down on plastic waste. One sponge can last indefinitely if looked after well, but with everyday use it’s likely to last around 6 months. It can be washed in the washing machine, dish washer, or can be soaked in vinegar for 5 minutes before rinsing and being left to dry out.
