Glosters Pottery was founded by wife and husband duo, Myfanwy and Tom Gloster, and is a manifestation of their creativity and passion for designer pottery. Known in Porthmadog for their eccentric and beautiful seasonal window displays, the couple take inspiration from their gorgeous seaside surroundings to create their unique ceramics. As a photographer, blogger, and business co-owner, Myfanwy has succeeded in gaining a cult following of mug and pottery lovers, both locally and beyond.
Tom started out as a potter in 2004 after studying Applied Arts at the University of Derby. Today Tom is a well established and renowned potter, well known throughout Wales and beyond. Glosters are known for their contemporary range of kitchenware and pots, they regularly receive commissions from restaurants and even TV chefs! Each item of Tom's pottery is made by him completely by hand, it starts its life as a lump of clay on his wheel, and is fired, glazed and finished in the Glosters workshop.
