Nic Wooden Threaded Shape Sorter

This first Threaded Shape Sorter by Nic is a great introduction to shapes and colours for babies and toddlers. Made from warm, smooth natural wood, it consists of an easy-to-hold board with triangle and circle shape cut-outs and four matching shapes held together by a cord to prevent them from getting lost. Each shape is a different colour and passes easily through the board.

This wooden baby toy can be enjoyed first as a rattle and then as a mini shape sorter. The smooth wooden board is just the right size for little hands to clutch, complete with different shaped holes for the threaded shapes to slot through. Babies will love to clutch and shake this toy before discovering which shape fits where, as well as using it as a natural teething toy. We love toys that grow with children as they can be enjoyed for longer and this is a great size for popping into a changing bag for fun on the go or for attaching to a baby carrier or pram with a pacifier chain.

Made with sustainably sourced wood, the blocks are securely threaded together with strong cord and partly coloured with eco-colour stain. Playing with this tree toy is a fun way to develop colour and shape recognition skills, and encourage grasping and fine motor skills.
